Brake Shoe Kit
A brake shoe kit is a comprehensive, pre-assembled package designed for drum brake systems, featuring new curved metal shoes with high-friction lining, along with essential hardware like return springs and hold-down pins. These kits ensure balanced braking, reduce installation time, and prevent uneven wear. We can supply the complete FMSI model range. Each new brake shoe conforms to standard tolerances, ensuring compatibility with the matching cams and anchors. All components are standard-compliant, of superior quality, and suitable for both OEM and aftermarket use. Riveted brake pads have a service life of 20,000 to 25,000 lbs. Standard packaging is neutral; we also offer custom-labeled packaging. And for brake lining we can provide per your request such as Fras-le ,Textar, Bremskerl .

Application: Brake shoe assemblies are primarily used in drum brake systems, commonly found in the rear wheel brakes of automobiles, the front and rear wheel brakes of some commercial vehicles, and in some vehicles or equipment with relatively low braking performance requirements. Due to the advantages of drum brake systems, such as simple structure, low cost, and high braking force, they are still widely used in certain specific application scenarios.
Maintenance and Care
Regularly check the wear of the brake shoes. When the brake pads wear to a certain thickness, the brake shoe assembly needs to be replaced promptly to ensure braking effectiveness.
Check the return spring for good elasticity. If damaged or with weakened elasticity, replace it immediately.
Clean the brake shoes and brake drum surfaces of oil, dust, and other impurities to avoid affecting braking performance.
Check that the brake shoe assembly is securely installed and that all connecting parts are not loose. Tighten or repair any problems promptly.
